The Mid Nemah River Project: Another project that is in the planning stage which should take place in 2003. This river has an unhealthy pool/riffle ratio, which should be 1/1, in this case it is 8/11 when observed. The number of pools are not sufficient for a better salmon spawning stream. 2,374 feet of stream were observed and surveys showed the deficiency of pools and large woody debris. The WBFEG project's goal is to fix these and create a better spawning habitat.
