Headquarters Creek, Willapa National Wildlife Refuge Interruptive Center: This project will be the final phase of stream/estuary restoration. Starting in 1997 we started planting Chum salmon in this stream, the tide gates and blocking culverts were removed. In 2000, a small dam was removed in the headwaters of the stream, and the stream was restored. This phase will complete the educational element by providing a trail system and signage and interpretive center.
