Butte Creek: We restored about 4,300 ft. of this stream. This stream has historically supported large populations of salmon. This stream salmon population started dropping in the mid-1960 and continued the decline. We surveyed the stream in 2000, and determined the root cause of the salmon decline was loss of spawning habitat. This project restored the spawning habitat by adding pools and riffles for continuing through mid-January 2002.
